Independent Artisan Coffee House & Kitchen. Specialising in wholesome freshly prepared food made to order.
We began as a small family run independent business established in May 2017 at our rather modest little Coffee House on St Johns Road in Waterloo, Liverpool. At the time of opening there where two members of staff, owners Clare & Graeme. Soon after opening Clare's younger brother Sean joined the team as the business started to grow. Despite a few hiccups along the way our little business continued to grow & flourish and so did our team of staff.
In December last year we were offered an amazing opportunity to expand our little Coffee House into one of the most beautiful places in Liverpool. The Royal Albert Dock! It was an offer we just couldn't refuse & a location as a small business owner you could only dream of owning. In truth, some days I still have to pinch myself to check its not a dream.
Its been a whirlwind if a year but one that we are extremely proud of & truly grateful for the support we have received from our customers new and old & the opportunities we have been given. Both of which we will never ever take for granted.
We aim to provide great tasting locally sourced food to our patrons and are keen supporters of other local independent businesses. This means when you visit us at either of our locations you are not just supporting us, you are supporting a whole chain of small businesses, from butchers to bakers & cake makers. As our little business grows so will theres, keeping it local and improving the local community.
All of our food is freshly prepared on site using only the best quality ingredients available. We offer a full and varied menu that is aimed to cater to all dietary requirements whether you are a Carnivore, Pescatarian, Vegetarian or Vegan. We also have a wide variety of Gluten Free options available.
We are proud to be able to call ourselves a Speciality Artisan Coffee House. Serving an amazing Single Plantation Peaberry Bean from Fazenda Sertão which is located in Brazil’s agriculture capital state of Minas Gerais.
The coffee itself is a ‘Peaberry’, where only one coffee seed forms inside the cherry – offering more flavour and allowing for a more even roast. The beans are naturally processed with sweet characteristics of toffee and a lemon-tart acidity present.
As our beans are single plantation they can be traced to the exact farm at which they were grown & harvested, to our suppliers at the roastery & then on to us. Making them a very special little bean & not just your average cup of coffee.
